To obtain a visa to attend IGARSS-2018, many embassies will require an invitation letter as part of the visa application process. The entry requirements for Spain can be found at the webpage of Foreign Affairs.
Persons who complete a registration and submit payment will be able to request an official invitation letter on conference letterhead. The letter will be a PDF file delivered by email upon request per the instructions shown in the registration confirmation email. There is no additional cost for the emailed invitation letter.
If a hardcopy/physical invitation letter is required, you will be able to order one during the registration process. There is a fee associated with the hardcopy invitation, in order to cover the express-mail postage.
Being in possession of a valid visa is required of nationals of third countries included on the list of countries whose nationals must be in possession of a visa when crossing the external borders, unless in possession of a valid residence permit or a valid long-term visa issued by another State of the European Union or Member State.
